Areas of Practice

Labour Law – Representing unions in labour relations matters, including arbitrations and Board applications.
Human rights law – particularly discrimination in the employment context.
Employment law, including wrongful dismissal litigation and harassment complaints.

Zosia first joined Victory Square Law Office LLP as a Summer Research Assistant in 2016. She went on to complete her articles at VSLO and joined the firm as an Associate in 2018.

Zosia’s practice areas include labour law, human rights law and employment law. She has appeared before various administrative tribunals and the Provincial Court of British Columbia.

During law school, Zosia completed two full-time semester placements as a student caseworker in a Toronto legal aid clinic. In addition to assisting clients with their immigration matters, Zosia engaged in public legal education and policy advocacy. In 2015, she participated in a successful unionizing drive at the clinic that led to the certification of its first-ever student bargaining unit.

While at Osgoode, Zosia also volunteered with the Community and Legal Aid Services Programme and participated in a year-long feminist advocacy partnership with the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, which provides legal representation and other services to women who have experienced abuse.

Prior to attending law school, Zosia worked for several years as a public servant, where she gained experience in a range of policy areas including immigration, labour market development, and international trade.

Zosia is passionate about fighting discrimination and oppression in the workplace, and looks forward to continuing to work with employees and unions to defend their rights.
