Jasmine Pathak
Associate
Jasmine Pathak is an associate at Victory Square Law Office. Before becoming an associate at VSLO, Jasmine summered and articled with the firm.
Jasmine practises labour, human rights, and administrative law. She is proud to stand with unions to advance workers’ rights and to strengthen collective power. Jasmine’s dedication to worker-centred advocacy is rooted in her experiences as a union member, executive, and organizer.
Jasmine earned her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law, where she received the David Mullan Scholarsip and the course prize in Law and Poverty. During law school, she was deeply involved in labour and social justice initiatives. Jasmine served as an executive of the Queen’s Labour and Employment Club, helped organize a labour moot, and led a union organizing drive. She also participated as a mentor in the Women in Law and Women Pre-Law programs and as a member of the South Asian Law Students’ Association. In addition, she worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Lisa Kelly on youth criminal justice issues and worked as a Teaching Assistant for several courses, including Workplace Law.
Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (with Distinction) from the University of Victoria, where she received several academic awards and scholarships.
Jasmine is committed to trauma-informed and anti-racist legal practice. She is pleased to serve clients in English and Punjabi.
