*Carolyn provides legal services through Carolyn M. Janusz Law Corporation.
Carolyn M. Janusz is a partner with the firm. Her dedication to workers’ rights and labour law began with a CAW-sponsored internship at the International Labour Organisation in Geneva. It continued with her Labour Law-focused studies at the University of Western Law, under the mentorship of Arbitrator and Professor Michael Lynk. Her commitment to assisting labour unions and workers grew with each successive experience in her career, including Co-Op positions with the Ontario Ministry of Labour and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, articles at a leading labour law firm in Toronto, and her studies at American University’s Public International Law Program.
In 2011, Carolyn returned home to Vancouver to apply her persuasive advocacy and negotiation expertise to advance worker rights in British Columbia. She continues to hone her skills and expertise across a wide range of industries, including post-secondary and public education, fire service, construction, and professional sport. Whatever the industry or issue, Carolyn is adept at assessing the legal issues and developing practical approaches that result in lasting solutions for her clients.
Carolyn is pleased to assist and represent clients in English and French. Her goal is to strategically avoid disputes before they escalate whenever possible. Where litigation is the best path to resolve a dispute, she steadfastly represents clients before labour arbitrators, Human Rights Tribunals, Labour Relations Boards, and the courts.
