Agnieszka (Aga) is an associate with the firm and is particularly passionate about advocating for human rights and equality in the workplace.
Focusing on human rights issues during her studies in Belgium and Poland, Aga worked at the United Nations Human Rights Council before moving to Canada in 2018. Completing her LLM in Common Law at UBC, she articled at a general civil litigation firm and ATIRA Women’s Resource Society before being called to the BC Bar and starting with VSLO.
Her practice is guided by the trauma-informed approach and she works to provide cost-effective and practical solutions through an inclusive and culturally competent approach. Aga continues to volunteer in the community by providing free legal services to women from the Downtown Eastside and working on improving the lives of animals though systemic change as a member of the Canadian Animal Law Study Group.
She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers
