STEPHANIE DRAKE
Stephanie articled at Victory Square Law Office LLP, and joined the firm as an Associate after her call to the British Columbia bar in 2008.
Stephanie's practice areas include labour law, employment law, human rights law, and administrative law. Stephanie has represented clients at the Labour Relations Board, in collective agreement arbitrations, and in Human Rights complaints. She has appeared before the Provincial Court of B.C. and the B.C. Supreme Court.
After completing an Honours BSc at the University of Toronto, Stephanie received her law degree from the University of Victoria in the Law Co-op program. Stephanie's co-op placements were all focussed on labour and employment law, two of them at public sector unions.
Stephanie is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
Stephanie co-authored and presented a paper on the freedom of expression of students in schools at the 2009 Annual Conference of the Canadian Association for the Practical Study of Law in Education.
Outside the office, Stephanie enjoys music and various outdoor activities. A former hockey goalie and pole vaulter, Stephanie's current sport of choice is mountain biking.
