COLIN GUSIKOSKI
A tumbleweed from the prairies, Colin grew up on a mixed grain and livestock farm in Saskatchewan. Before going to university full-time Colin worked in a potash mine and was an active member of the United Steelworkers union.
Colin attended the University of Saskatchewan for both his commerce and law degrees. He graduated with distinction from the College of Commerce and completed part of his law degree in Australia. Colin then moved to Toronto where attained his master of laws at Osgoode Hall Law School, writing his thesis in the area of occupational health and safety regulation in the forestry sector.
While working on his master's degree Colin articled at Sack Goldblatt Mitchell LLP, a labour and human rights firm in Toronto. Colin became a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada in the summer of 2008 and shortly thereafter, spent seven months working in international human rights law in Guatemala.
Since returning to Canada Colin has joined Victory Square Law Office and is now a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
Colin enjoys playing most sports and can often be found "picking up big time points" on the soccer field after work.
