ALLISON TREMBLAY
Allison Tremblay worked as a summer student and articled student at Victory Square Law Office before joining the firm as an Associate in May 2010.
Allison completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Simon Fraser University with a major in Humanities and a minor in Philosophy. She spent a semester studying political science and literature in the Czech Republic. In 2009, she received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia. As part of her law degree, she was selected to spend a semester interning with the BC Provincial Court. At UBC Law, Allison was honoured to receive the Panvini Scholarship in Law, the Lawson Lundell Prize in Administrative Law and a number of awards and scholarships from the Law Foundation.
Allison has assisted with representing clients in labour, employment, and human rights matters before the Labour Relations Board, collective agreement arbitrators, other administrative tribunals, mediators and the B.C. Courts. Allison also assists senior counsel in providing advice to trustees on legal issues arising in the administration of pension and benefits plans and pension and benefits litigation.
Allison has enjoyed choral music since childhood and currently sings with the acclaimed Elektra Women's Choir. She is attempting to learn how to golf.
Allison is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
