ADMINISTRATIVE LAW

In addition to our extensive practice in arbitrations and proceedings under the Labour Relations Code, Victory Square Law Office LLP represents unions and individuals in employment related claims and proceedings before the Employment Standards Branch and Tribunal, Worksafe BC and Workers Compensation Appeals, and B.C. and Canada Human Rights Commissions and Tribunals. We regularly represent individuals in professional disciplinary matters including proceeding with the College of Teachers, College of Physicians and Surgeons, College of Registered Nurses, College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses, and College of Dental Surgeons.

We provide advice and representation in relation to claims of denial of natural justice before regulatory, statutory and domestic tribunals in British Columbia, Alberta, and Federal jurisdictions.

We have experience in representing unions in freedom of information requests and in proceedings involving the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner. We regularly advise unions and organizations on issues involving the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and the Personal Information Protection Act.
